Bloodstock Open Air announces three more bands for 2014

British metal festival Bloodstock has added another three acts to their lineup for summer 2014!

Polish death metallers Decapitated will be making their debut appearance at the festival. The band is currently in the process of writing their sixth studio album which is scheduled to be released next year through Nuclear Blast.

British metal veterans Saxon will be returning to Bloodstock in 2014! Their new album ‘Sacrifice’ will be released in February and will be the band’s twentieth release! You can check the new video for the title track from the album here:

Last but not least American thrash metal icons Flotsam & Jetsam will also be headed to Catton Hall in 2014. The band will be touring in support of their eleventh album ‘Ugly Noise’.

The festival will be held at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 7th-10th August 2014. Already announced for Bloodstock 2014 are Down and Emperor.

Tickets for 2014’s event are already on sale at ‘early bird’ prices, £115 for a 4-day weekend ticket with camping. Once the limited ‘early bird’ allocation is gone, it’s gone, and tickets revert to full price. So do not delay and pick up your discounted tickets now at!

Killswitch Engage and Trivium co-headline UK tour

Roadrunner labelmates Killswitch Engage and Trivium have announced a co-headline tour around the UK in February 2014. Both artists released new albums this year, with Killswitch Engage’s album ‘Disarm the Descent‘ album released in April and reaching #15 in the UK charts and Trivium’s ‘Vengeance Falls‘ released this week!
